For over 30 years, from 1969 to 2000 Aston Martin V8 Marek Tadek used in all "drive V range. But after a production period of a shade over 5000 against power units built V8 admired AML replaced with a new V12 engine to drive their highest level of cars through the first decade of the 21st century.
A V12 engine has been proposed for the Lagonda Vignale concept car in 1993, even if a work unit is not mounted actually in the car show. The Vignale was destined to be built around an extruded aluminum frame, a feature first in the production of the Vanquish. In 1996, Ford was up 6.0-liter V12 experimental work, initially based on a pair of 3.0-liter V6 Duratec unit, with a show car they called the Ford Indigo concept. Further development of the V12 has finally appeared in an Aston Martin with the 1998 road project is Vantage. The new V12 has finally been installed in a production Aston Martin DB7 Vantage in 1999.
Production V12 Vanquish, which resembles the Vantage project was finally revealed to the press and potential customers in October 2000, and the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2001. Production started soon after the Newport Pagnell plant restarted and customer deliveries began in summer 2001.
The Vanquish has been very active in the public eye since I met James Bond Aston Martin. Highly modified V12 Vanquish is the star of "Die Another Day", released in November 2002 with great success enormous.
To date, there have been two special cars modified based on the Vanquish, the Bertone Jet 2 unusual and wonderful Roadster by Zagato. Unfortunately, I think these cars have remained single.

In 2006 it became clear that the two days of the Vanquish and the actual Aston Martin of Newport Pagnell production was coming to an end. First, cars are no longer marketed in the U.S. market, and production began to slow. Thus, in early 2007, AM announced the final version of the Vanquish S Ultimate Edition
At the time of Final Vanquish S was completed in July 2007 had been built only in 2578 Vanquish at Newport Pagnell. Aston Martin production at the plant had a sad end, after a period of more than 50 years. Much of the factory was demolished in early 2008 to make way for improvements in residential and commercial activities. Geneva 2011: Aston Martin Virage 2012 is a good thing
Actually, I do not see the need for a new Aston Martin, the gap between the DB9 and DBS, but after a little 'down on a new Virage 2012, welcomed him with open arms. It is based on the same architecture as the other cars of the VH line-up of the brand in England, using Virage Aston wonderful voice with a 6.0 liter V12 engine cranked out 490 horses and 420 pound-feet of torque. In Virage, a dozen cylinders are mixed exclusively for the company, six-speed Touchtronic 2-blade-change.
While the design of Virage is not very different from anything else in the portfolio of the manufacturer, it definitely has some punch. 2009 Alfa Romeo Brera Q4 - First Drive Review
Alfa Romeo has a legacy, but a difficult history in recent years, particularly in the United States in the 90's, the Italian brand not to drink, like many of its 164 sedan had.
Rumors of Alfa's return to the United States is a subject of the annual forecast of the automotive industry. It now appears that the brand will officially be here with a face lifted versions of the Brera coupe and convertible in time for the 2009 model year Spider. The current plan is to create a sales organization built around Alfa Maserati dealers US 47.
Brera and Spider are based on a synthesis of the 159 sedan platform [Front-loading, C / D, September 2005]. European cars are different for petrol and diesel engines, but the U.S. model is only a 3.2-liter V-6 gas. It is based on GM's "well equipped" V-6, but adapted to the cylinder heads Alpha includes a direct fuel injection and cam phasing that offers continuously variable valve timing for intake and exhaust. It produces 256 horsepower and a rich exhaust note that Alpha is typically (but not all the GM).
The platform locates the engine transversely and room for front-wheel drive or four wheels, as Alfa Q4 call and employs 43/57 front-rear, torque distribution varies in response to wheel slip with a Torsen center differential. In Europe, V-6 comes with a six-speed manual transmission for the moment, but a six-speed automatic transmission should be presented later this year.
We drove the Brera in Italy and although we had some questions about adherence to the road to Euro versions only front-wheel drive - and staking disconcerting couple seemed to depend on tire size and type - the model we have in Q4 States had a quiet confidence. With its quick steering (2.25 turns lock to lock) and the distribution of torque to the rear of polarization, which was anxious around corners and then gripped hard.
There is no doubt that America is becoming the best version of the platform, the V-6 sedan Brera Q4. It's fast - 0 to 62 mph in 6.8 seconds, according to the company - but not a class leader, due to a curb weight of about 3600 pounds. With an estimated price of $ 42 000, Brera is some strong competition for cars like the Audi TT, BMW Z4 M Coupe and the Mercedes SLK. The Brera can say practical because it has four seats and a hatchback, but an adult can not travel in the back and the tailgate lip is so high that the loading of luggage is a struggle.

The 8C Competizione is a sports coupe with performance, style, fiery sensation ... and a price of £ 100,000. Originally debuting in concept form at the Motor Show in Frankfurt in 2003, the car is ready to be ordered for delivery in about a year. To see what these lucky buyers can expect, Auto Express was the first to take the wheel.
When unveiled the Alfa 8C off, few people thought it would make production unchanged. But, as you can see here - and how visitors found out last week at the Paris Motor Show - keeps all the amazing details of the concept.
In the front air intakes open and the lights claims are a very aggressive, and they are accompanied by visual theater exhaust only four and two circular lights in the rear. But it is the form of classic sports cars, with a long hood and short tail, is the real star feature. It was made possible by a low aerodynamic protection model hopefuls on the road at full speed, eliminating the need for ugly wings and spoilers.

Acura RSX Review
The Acura RSX is a two-door sports sedan. Replacement Cup Integra, Acura RSX served as the entry-level car from 2002 to 2006, when the brand decided to move to the highest level itself and the car no longer fit the company's system. However, as a car, two versions of the RSX should appeal to consumers who want a car that offers a reasonably affordable sports coupe like the style and performance available. Like most Acura, the RSX has a high level of refinement and a reputation for above average reliability, competitive prices and high resale value.
In road tests, we found a performance RSX provider of the most important strengths of handling and responsive steering. The Type-S has been especially rewarding to drive. The entire cycle of production, the Acura RSX was one of our favorite sports sedans, but towards the end of several new and redesigned versions of both competitors abused in our favor.
Recent Acura RSX
Almost all the features of the Acura RSX was standard for finding a vehicle, preferably with easily. Throughout his life there were two available trim levels: base and Type-S. The base model should work well for consumers interested in having fun to drive a car that is comfortable for daily commuting. Acura RSX Review
The Acura RSX is a two-door sports sedan. Replacement Cup Integra, Acura RSX served as the entry-level car from 2002 to 2006, when the brand decided to move to the highest level itself and the car no longer fit the company's system. However, as a car, two versions of the RSX should appeal to consumers who want a car that offers a reasonably affordable sports coupe like the style and performance available. Like most Acura, the RSX has a high level of refinement and a reputation for above average reliability, competitive prices and high resale value.
In road tests, we found a performance RSX provider of the most important strengths of handling and responsive steering. The Type-S has been especially rewarding to drive. The entire cycle of production, the Acura RSX was one of our favorite sports sedans, but towards the end of several new and redesigned versions of both competitors abused in our favor.
Recent Acura RSX
Almost all the features of the Acura RSX was standard for finding a vehicle, preferably with easily. Throughout his life there were two available trim levels: base and Type-S. After the naming convention began with the revolutionary advanced sedan concept unveiled in Los Angeles, Acura has introduced a concept called Advanced Concept Detroit Sports Car After having been out of the sports car market in 2005 the last NSX , Acura seems to be preparing for the start, although purists will be disappointed that NSX the following sports car company is unlikely to be an engine of semi-exotic, but a front engine Gran Turismo, possibly a 2 +2.

The vehicle will be built in limited production of only 100 units that use the platform of the world famous Corvette Z06 and have a redesigned body of carbon fiber. Ford GTX1 is the dream of a man, Kip Ewing, a Ford SVT engineering supervisor. Kip had designed the convertible version of the Ford GT on a mat using the 1966 Sebring winning Ford GTX1 roadster as his inspiration - hence the name.
Ewing took a 1:18 scale die-cast model of the Ford GT and modified it, first by cutting the roof and remodeling regular car with mastic. He finished it off with a paint shop. He used this model to convince the higher powers that his project was possible. GTX1 Ewing talks about design history.
"I spent my education between engineering and fine arts, but my career was engineering," said Ewing. "To be able to do my design work recognized in a show is something I've wanted all my life."
GTX1 is not only a great concept, some clever engineer went to the multi-roof mounting.
GTX1 The roof system consists of four individual hard panels. These panels can be configured as a coupe, T-top, or full convertible. The panels are painted the same yellow with silver stripes Valencia tungsten covering the entire car. Therefore, when the car is configured as a coupe, it does not lose its attractive design, a problem with most convertibles. All panels on the roof of the Ford GTX1 stored properly in the car, which means that if a sudden summer rain begins to stay dry, but not for long.
Genaddi Design Group, a Wisconsin coachbuilder based on the experience of cutting the roofs off expensive and exotic cars, was chosen to build the car.
