The launch of the LF-A Roadster Concept at the Auto Show in Detroit has given us a pretty good idea of how future Lexus models will look like. And inspired by the design concept here is how we assume that the third generation SC might look like.
Lexus has developed something big that will easily compete with models like BMW 3 series. To do this, the external changes are not the only thing that is needed. There are significant changes required under the hood too.

According to various sources, the next generation SC will be powered by the same engines as the current generation LS (which means that the next generation of SC will be called the SC460?). This will result in a 4.6-liter V8 engine that delivers 380 hp @ 6400 rpm. On the other hand, it would mean 100 hp more than the current SC has only a maximum power of 280 hp, we seriously doubt that.
Also on the second hand of the BMW 335i has only a maximum power of 300 hp Lexus is the target of 3-Series SC takes the output will also be around 300 horsepower.
