2011 Rolls-Royce Phantom

When it comes to luxury cars, it is hard to beat the Rolls-Royce Phantom pedigrees, elegance and absolute overwhelming presence. It is, after all, the flagship model of the Rolls-Royce, the British luxury of Marque, which cars are built for real, and a curb weight of 6,000 kg is easily one of the bigger car you've ever met.

The standard model is a sedan, but you can also get a long-wheelbase Phantom to cut, because the coupe or the "Drop Head Coupe", a convertible bond. If you want to drive a car, so you should go for smaller but more efficient in 2011 as Rolls-Royce Ghost, but if you are driving on your list of employees as the Phantom is the only way to go.

Both Bentley and Maybach offers models in this segment, but at the end of the day, they are simply not in the same league.

Although it might not be the car driver, specifications of 2011 Rolls-Royce Phantom is still very impressive.

Power comes from 6.7-liter V-12 engine, power of 453 horses and 531 pound-feet of torque. Sheer mass car ruining its performance a bit ', but still goes 60 mph 5.7 seconds faster sports car. Electronically limited top speed of 155 mph is significantly higher than that you never really want to go to while driving in the Phantom.

A 100 mph on the highway, the engine is very quiet, its six-speed automatic changes almost invisible. The suspension is multi-links and arms control and self-leveling shocks all around, giving it an ethereal ride quality: it is hampered by the roughness of the road, leaving only bad thing c below its 21-inch wheels and tires up.

With a diameter of the huge steering wheel and lightweight feel, you can not control at all angles of attack, but the ghost is not responsible for the control inputs and the brakes hard, if not quickly.

Note that the Phantom Coupé and Phantom Drophead Coupé has been tuned for a sportier feel. Subtle and powertrain suspension to improve the dynamic changes, most of which can be attributed to the revision of the air suspension settings, increased diameter stabilizer bars and a new calibration management. Transmission models also receive a two-door sport mode "S".

The price of the 2011 range of Rolls-Royce Phantom is $ 385 000, including $ 5,000 gas mileage and postage. The sedan's longer wheelbase of $ 455 000 and $ 413 000 cut, and finally, the Drophead Coupe $ 452 000 fine.
