COPENHAGEN, Denmark - Automotive Zenvo said production of the 50 Zenvo ST-1, a Danish special edition supercar to the U.S. market is limited to only three cars. Price: $ 1.8 million.
ST-1 was the first time in 2009. Its creators said that the car would feature a modified version of the 7.0-liter LS7 V8 that powers the Chevrolet Corvette Z06.
Equipped with a supercharger and a turbocharger (hence the acronym ST), the modified engine Zenvo standard provides power and an alleged 1104 1055 foot pounds of torque. The ST-1 is said to accelerate from 0-60 in under 3.0 seconds, reaching a top speed of 233 mph.
The company says the US-spec ST-1 50S has been refined to deliver 1250 hp and 1106 pounds pi.
The ST-1 was designed by the HBH Denmark, working on its own V12 supercar midengine.
Zenvo said it plans to build only 15 ST-1 for the world.
Inside Line says: To attract more potential customers in the United States, each ST-1 50S comes with a "free" $ 49,000 wristwatch Zenvo Aspen.
